Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Must be able to drive 14-passenger bus* Must be able to drive other Metropolitan Action Commission vehicles* A safe driving record within the past three (03) years* Must be in good physical condition to do heavy lifting, standing and bending* Must be able to lift 50 to 75 pounds* Knowledge of street and highway safety rules and procedures* Ability to read and write effectively* Ability to follow oral and written instructions* Ability to perform manual labor and safely handle equipment* Must be able to follow DHS rules and state law when transporting preschool children. All employees of the Metropolitan Government shall be residents of the State of Tennessee or become residents of the state within six (6) months of employment as a prerequisite to employment with the Metropolitan Government.
